Jeremy Blake, a Digital Artist, poses near a 3-screen installation at SF Museum of Modern Art based on the Winchester Mystery House located in San Jose, Calif. Employing hand-painted imagery, film footage, vector graphics, and sound in a process the artist calls "time-based painting," Blake's visually opulent works offer an empathetic experience of Winchester's madness. Blake died in July 2007 in an apparent suicide.
