USA- Fire Burns Former PX On Mare Island

Vallejo firefighters battle a blaze that broke out around 8:45 AM in the former PX building on Mare Island. The structure located at Azuar Drive and G Street, once housed a commissary grocery store and night club serving the former naval base. Officials said the fire was not connected with any of the four significant aftershocks to the South Napa Quake that shook the region this morning. The fire was under control around 9:30 AM.
